Payment Policy - Overview

All fees quoted in £ sterling are for the Course only. (They do not include accommodation, living or travel expenses or any other expense).

Exact payment details are given upon receipt of application forms. We will accept cheques, postal orders, money transfers and cash. Payment for all courses can be made through Paypal (5% surcharge) or preferably by electronic transfer to our bank account.

Fees can be paid in two ways:

Method 1 – Full payment in advance (£100 discount per level/year allowed)

(Fees for intake September 2008  -  PT Y1 - £2495  - FT Y1 £4795)

Distance learning  - £2300 in advance for each level.

Method 2 – Deposit (non returnable) of £500 and monthly payments by Standing Order to complete one month before graduation.

(Fees for intake 2008  -  PT Y1 - £2595  - FT Y1 £4895)

Distance learning  - Payment per Module:  £500 deposit to cover Modules 1 & 2 and then payments in advance of £237.50 for each Module.  Modules can only be downloaded after confirmation of payment.

Our Refund Policy  - A non-refundable deposit of £500 is needed to ensure a place and this must be paid by the date given in the acceptance letter, and then a standing order to be set up to start before course commencement. (No refunds will be made after the day before the first college weekend).

Each year/level of a course is offered as a complete unit. Paying monthly does not imply that a course is offered in monthly units. To start either the FT or PT course is a legal agreement that you have agreed to pay the fee for the whole year/level that you have signed up for whether or not you complete it. (You have no obligation to pay for future years if you do not continue – if you defer for a year then you will pay the current applicable year fee when you restart).

Conditions for standing order (s.o.) or Online subscription payments

You must inform us if you cancel the S.O., online subscription or miss a payment. You agree to pay the missing amount within two weeks along with any charges made by your Bank or Building Society or our Bank for the defaulted payment. Please note - if more than one payment is missed then the whole amount becomes due immediately. We reserve the right to charge interest on outstanding fees. You agree to communicate with CPH if there is any kind of financial problem concerning payments, (since we want you to complete the course successfully - come and talk with us).

Fee comparison with other Course providers: Our fees compare favourably with other equivalent course providers. If you are comparing fees pleas ensure you compare like with like, e.g. the individual year cost of our two year FT course may appear more than the individual year cost of a three year FT course but is considerably cheaper (and better!) overall! Also many courses do not provide A&P, Clinics or useful written material so do include these in your real costs total. We believe we cannot be beaten on quality.

General Notes: We try keep course fees at the price you started on for each following level/year so that you can budget for the course – this means you that once you have started The Foundation Level/year you can continue at that price until you complete all levels/years as long as there is no gap of more that six months. However we reserve the right to increase fees in exceptional circumstances e.g. rapid inflation or new legal requirements.

Additional Costs - There are no extra charges from CPH but you should budget for clinic days or for any extra Supervision and/or sitting-in time as these are an extra cost that are not within the College control. They are part of the requirement for students to develop their own local networks.  (In the UK external tutorials are offered by a number of independent Homeopaths and students are encouraged to try these. These tutorials vary in cost from free to £20+ depending on duration and the individual who is giving the tutorial).

External Supervision: Towards graduation individual Supervision is encouraged and students should expect to pay for this. It is quite normal to share ‘supervision’ with other students to reduce the costs. The College has a list of recognised supervisors.

Overall ancillary costs to CPH Students would mainly be for books (The need for buying books is kept to a minimum as our written material is excellent and most texts are available on the web), practice insurance, external clinical hours, simple diagnostic instruments and remedies.

Completing each year/level: Students must complete each Level/year satisfactorily and pay all outstanding fees before moving onto the next level/year.
