What's unique about studying at the College of Practical Homeopathy

"We think it is important that, after the investment of your time, money and energy at the college of practical homeopathy, the college graduate should also be successful in homeopathy as a career."

Recognition:

CPH has full recognised status with the Society of Homeopaths, the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths and the Homeopathic Medical Association, these being the main organisations giving recognition to homeopathic courses in the UK.

Class sizes:

We keep class sizes quite small (usually between 12 and 25). These small class sizes make a huge difference, not just to the quantity of what is learned, but its quality and clarity as well.

Integrated modules and high quality handouts:

All our courses are carefully thought through, based on an integrated syllabus, in line with recommended standards and practices, developed for colleges by the Society of Homeopaths Education Working Group. At the College of Practical Homeopathy students receive handouts for each session (containing all they need to remember and written in a user friendly and accessible way - so no more frantic note taking or trying to remember scribbled notes!). College courses are intended to be deep but not serious, so expect lots of laughter (and some tears!).

Student support at the College of Practical Homeopathy:

This is a major focus for our energies and is therefore ever-improving at the college.

During the course we provide:

Personal contact with teachers, staff and other college students, interactive monitoring of individual student progress, providing a list of supervisors, pastoral counselling is available and we encourage students to find their own external clinical experience.

Practitioner Development Module:

In addition, all college courses include the unique ‘Practitioner Development Module'. This helps students explore the personal and professional skills necessary for training and setting up a successful practice anywhere in the world. This module also prepares students to meet the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) criteria that are becoming a prerequisite for registration with the Homeopathy professional bodies that govern the sector.

Our teaching staff:

Another major advantage of the College of Practical Homeopathy is that we only choose the best teachers who are passionate and enthusiastic about their subjects, experienced in Homeopathy and in communicating their wisdom to students (and with a sense of humour). This makes a huge difference as no one in CPH ever teaches from theory. Everything they teach is real and based on their extensive clinical and life experience in homeopathy.

High quality clinical training:
